Create Shifts with Celayix Assistant
Use the Celayix Assistant to create shifts directly within Schedule Xpress by entering a prompt or selecting a suggested action. The Assistant guides you through required details such as date, time, location, and role, helping you create shifts faster without navigating the shift panel.
Create Open Shifts
To create open shifts, click the Ask button in the top-right corner and enter a prompt such as Create open shifts, or select it from the suggested options.
The Assistant will prompt you to enter the required shift details, including:
- Date – The date(s) for the shifts
- Start Time – When the shifts begin
- End Time – When the shifts end
- Count – Number of shifts to create
- Customer Name – The customer the shifts belong to
- Site Name – The site location
- Service Name – The type of service
If the shifts are correct, click Create Shifts.
To complete, click the Save icon.
Create Multiple Open Shifts
You can create multiple open shifts in a single request by entering all shift details in a structured prompt.
Include the overall shift details, such as:
- Date
- Customer Name
- Site Name
- Service Name
Then define each shift by specifying:
- Start and End Time
- Count (number of employees or guards required)
You can include multiple time ranges in one request to generate several shifts at once.
The Assistant will generate a table of shifts based on the information provided for you to review.
If the shifts are correct, click Create Shifts, then click the Save icon to finalize them.
Create Assigned Shifts
To create assigned shifts, include the employee name or employee ID when entering your shift details.
The Assistant will generate the shifts with the employee assigned.
If you are satisfied with the results, click Create Shifts.
Once created, your shift(s) will be in draft mode. Click the save icon to finalize them.
