Update Bill Rates
Administrators can update bill rates at any time to reflect contract changes, pricing updates, or other billing requirements. Manage Rates provides a simple process for updating individual or multiple bill rates at once.
Update Bill Rates
To update one or more bill rates:
- Select the bill rate(s) you want to update by checking the corresponding boxes.
- Click Update Rate in the top-right corner.
Alternatively, click the Wrench icon beside a bill rate and select Update Rate.
Tip: Multiple bill rates can be updated at the same time by selecting more than one bill rate before clicking Update Rate.
Choose How to Update the Bill Rate
After selecting the bill rate(s) to update, choose how you would like the changes to be applied:
- Replace With – Replaces the existing bill rate with a new value.
- Increase By – Increases the current bill rate by a specified amount or percentage.
- Decrease By – Decreases the current bill rate by a specified amount or percentage.
Important Note: Use Replace With only if you are comfortable overwriting the existing bill rate. If you need to preserve historical rate information, consider using Increase By, Decrease By, or creating a new bill rate with an effective date instead.
