Employee Management Made Simple
Employee profiles are the foundation of Schedule Xpress. Before schedules can be created, employees must first be added to the system through the Manage People section, which serves as the central hub for employee setup and maintenance.
Administrators can add employees individually using the Add Employee function or quickly onboard multiple employees at once using Quick Add Multiple. The Add employee function is ideal when detailed employee information needs to be entered during setup, while Quick add multiple allows up to 10 employee accounts to be created at once using only the essential account information.
In addition to basic details such as first name, last name, email address, or mobile phone number, Schedule Xpress supports a wide range of employee information, including:
- Qualifications and certifications
- Pay and billing information
- Availability records
- Employee groups
- Hiring history
- Work hour limits
Smarter Scheduling and Workforce Oversight
Schedule Xpress helps managers create schedules that align with employee availability, qualifications, and operational requirements. Employees can be organized by group, department, or role, allowing managers to quickly identify the right staff for each assignment.
The platform also supports workforce compliance by allowing organizations to configure daily, weekly, or monthly work hour limits. When a proposed shift exceeds those limits, the system automatically alerts schedulers before conflicts occur.
Additional workforce tracking tools, such as qualification and certification management, help organizations ensure employees are assigned appropriately and remain compliant with operational requirements.
Improved Communication Through Team Xpress
Schedule Xpress integrates with Team Xpress, giving employees access to schedules, account invitations, workforce information, and communication tools through mobile or web access.
Employees can:
- Review schedules
- Manage account credentials
- Receive schedule updates
- Submit requests
- Use the built-in chat feature to communicate with managers and team members
This connection between administrators and employees helps improve communication while reducing the need for manual schedule distribution.
