Set Maximum Hours for Sites

Learn how to configure Maximum Hours for Sites in Schedule Xpress to help manage scheduling limits and workforce requirements.

The Maximum Hours feature allows organizations to define the maximum number of scheduled hours permitted for a Site within a specific time period. These limits help organizations control staffing levels and prevent Sites from being scheduled beyond operational requirements.


Find Maximum Hours

Maximum Hours can be configured within the Site profile under:

Manage Sites → Select Site → Max Hours





Use Maximum Hours

The Max Hours section allows Users to configure scheduling limits for Sites based on operational requirements.

Maximum Hours can be configured for:

  • Daily hours
  • Weekly hours
  • Monthly hours

These limits are used by the scheduling system to monitor total scheduled hours at a Site during schedule creation.







Configure Maximum Hours

To configure Maximum Hours for a Site:

  1. Open the Site profile
  2. Navigate to the Max Hours section
  3. Choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly Maximum Hours
  4. Enter the required hour limits
  5. Add the Effective Date
  6. Click Save

Once configured, the limits will apply during scheduling workflows.







Validations for Maximum Hours

When a Site is scheduled beyond its configured Maximum Hours, Schedule Xpress will generate a validation as either a warning or an error, depending on system configuration.

These validations help organizations control scheduled Site hours, manage staffing allocations, and maintain operational scheduling rules.
