Set Up Facial Recognition
Admins can enable Facial Recognition to streamline employee clock-in and clock-out processes. This feature uses biometric authentication to verify employee identity at the start and end of shifts, improving accuracy, security, and efficiency.

Configure Facial Recognition by Site
Once Facial Recognition is enabled in your database, you can control which sites require it.
To configure this setting:
Manage Sites → Select a site → Settings
Enable or disable Employee must use facial recognition for eClock actions at this site as needed.
How Employees Use Facial Recognition
When Facial Recognition is enabled, employees must upload a profile photo. This photo is used to verify their identity during check-in and check-out.
Employees are required to add a photo to their profile in Team Xpress. This image is used as the reference for identity verification.
When an employee is scheduled at a site that requires facial recognition:
- The Team Xpress app will prompt them to take a photo when checking in or out
- The system will compare the photo to their profile image
- If the photos match, the check-in or check-out is approved
- If the photos do not match, the request is denied
